Microgeneration Certification Scheme

MCS certification is the UK standard for solar PV and battery storage installations. It is required for customers to access the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG), which pays homeowners for excess electricity exported to the grid. MCS certification means every ElectriFusion Solutions solar and battery installation is designed, installed, and commissioned in accordance with strict technical standards set by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme. Our MCS-certified engineers undergo regular assessment and continued professional development to maintain this certification.

National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers

NAPIT registration confirms that our electricians are qualified and competent to carry out electrical installation work to Part P of the Building Regulations. This covers all domestic and commercial electrical work, including consumer unit upgrades, EV charger installations, and the electrical connections required for solar PV and battery storage systems. NAPIT conducts regular inspections of our work to ensure ongoing compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations and the latest industry standards.

Government-Endorsed Quality Mark

TrustMark is the only government-endorsed quality mark for tradespeople in the UK. Our TrustMark endorsement (ID: 3783047) provides customers with additional consumer protections including access to a government-backed guarantee and an independent dispute resolution service. TrustMark-endorsed businesses must demonstrate that they trade fairly, employ competent staff, and meet the requirements of one or more government-endorsed technical scheme operators.

Renewable Energy Consumer Code

RECC membership (ID: 00078304) means ElectriFusion Solutions adheres to a consumer code specifically designed for the renewable energy sector and approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute. RECC sets standards for the way member businesses sell, install, and service domestic renewable energy systems. As a RECC member, we are required to provide clear and accurate pre-sales information, transparent pricing, realistic performance estimates, and fair contract terms.

Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme

CHAS accreditation demonstrates that ElectriFusion Solutions meets a nationally recognised standard for health and safety management. The CHAS assessment evaluates our health and safety policies, risk assessments, method statements, and training records against the requirements of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) standard. This is particularly important for our commercial and industrial work, where strict health and safety compliance is a requirement for many clients and principal contractors.

F-Gas Handling Certification

REFCOM regulation certifies that ElectriFusion Solutions is legally compliant to work with fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-gases) used in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Under EU and UK F-gas regulations, any company that installs, services, maintains, or decommissions equipment containing F-gases must hold a valid certification. Our REFCOM certification covers all of our air conditioning installation and maintenance work, ensuring we handle refrigerants safely and in accordance with environmental regulations.

Chartered Trading Standards Institute Approved Code

The CTSI Approved Code is the highest level of consumer protection available. Businesses operating under a CTSI-approved code must meet rigorous standards for fair trading, transparency, and complaint handling. The code is independently monitored and enforced by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute. For our customers, this means an additional layer of assurance that ElectriFusion Solutions operates to the highest ethical and professional standards in all of our business dealings.
